About Veterans Upward Bound

For more than 30 years, Veterans' Upward Bound has provided a statewide network of free classes, services and support to Montana's veterans. VUB is fortunate to have a great team of professionals on staff to help veterans.

VUB is funded by the U.S. Department of Education to assist veterans with their educational needs. Administered by Montana State University Northern in Havre Montana, VUB serves all Montana veterans. We are charged with assisting and preparing veterans to pursue higher education or training.

We value education very highly and take seriously our responsibility to provide high quality instruction and excellent support services. We respect the service of veterans and have a sensitivity to the challenges they face as they prepare to transition from soldier to civilian.
