Veterans Upward Bound has offered online classes and services to veterans since 2009. VUB’s live-online classes are taught by instructors in real time, allowing students to participate from anywhere with a computer and internet connection. The online format features 4-week refresher courses in math, writing, science, computer skills, college success strategies, and foreign languages, providing flexible, accessible learning tailored to veterans’ needs.

In addition to our academic refresher courses, Veterans Upward Bound also offers a variety of supportive services designed to help veterans succeed in their educational and career goals, including:

• Assistance with college admissions, financial aid applications, and VA education benefits
• Career exploration and planning
• Academic advising and mentoring
• Referrals to community resources and support services
• Tutoring and one-on-one academic support
