I found Veterans Upward Bound to be extremely helpful in honing my academic skills as well as preparing me emotionally to attend college at an age where most attendees are of younger generations. VUB has and continues to help me navigate the pressures and deadlines that I am up against as a veteran and an adult learner.
My experience was great. The instructor did a great job of teaching, where I understood English and writing much better than I have in the past.
