How do I register?

Step 1:
Students will need to complete a VUB Application by pointing to the Register button at the top of the navigation bar above and choosing Application.


Step 2:

Complete the Equipment Request Form by pointing to Student Forms located at the top of the navigation bar above and choosing the Equipment Checkout Request Form.

Computer Laptop Program

Veterans Upward Bound offers laptops to eligible participants, depending on inventory available from our third-party vendor. These devices are gently used, carefully evaluated, and restored to provide reliable performance.

                                

After purchasing laptops from our vendor, the VUB team:

    • Reviews each device
    • Performs a full factory reset
    • Ensures functionality and readiness for student use

                                

The result is a laptop in like-new condition, similar to opening a device from a retail store.  Please note: Some devices may have minor cosmetic blemishes or limited functionality due to age or prior use.

                                

Device Availability

    • Windows-based laptops are most commonly available
    • Apple (MacBooks) and Chromebooks may occasionally be offered, depending on vendor inventory
