Veterans Upward Bound in Great Falls
Veterans Upward Bound has provided services to Great Falls veterans since 2000. The Great Falls site offers a refresher program for students thinking about changing career paths or going back to school. In partnership with the Great Falls Career & College Readiness Center, students will participate in the following classes:
- Computer Skills
- Degree Research and Career Options
- Mathematics
- Study Skills and Work Ethic Proficiencies
- Writing
- Required College Placement Assessments
In addition to our academic refresher classes, Veterans Upward Bound also offers the following services:
- Career exploration
- College admissions assistance
- College placement practice for math and writing
- Assistance with applying for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Assistance with applying for VA Education Benefits
- Tutoring
- Workshops
- Cultural events
